Successfully provided consultancy advice on a former industrial site, for the viability of a proposed residential scheme and affordable housing provision. We negotiated with the council with the use of the Three Dragons Toolkit and input from external consultants, for a nil affordable housing provision. The site has many topographical constraints and ex mining ground abnormalities which in its current state and allowing for current affordable housing provision make it unviable for development. The site obtained planning on the 15th February 2014 with a nil affordable hosing contribution.
